The QCKit is developed non-commercially. The program can be downloaded and used freely, for use on a Windows 10/11 laptop or pc. The source code (VB6) will also be released in the long time. As daily users of the QCKit ourselves, we simply want to make our knowledge available to others. All components are included in the QCKit setup as standard. The QCKit can be distributed for free thanks to a contribution from the Dutch Kennisnet foundation (Dutch). The goal is to solve as many issues as possible around test conversion and test creation for professional organizations, author teams and teachers in Dutch education.

Because the program is free, no further assistance is provided, although you can send the creators an e-mail (and try ...). The (also free) 'Handboek Toetsconstructie' (Dutch) will provide an explanation of the operation of each component from the beginning of 2025. We will continue to expand and update the program until at least the end of 2026. We think that by then AI will have taken over most of the functions of the QCKit.

Downloading of some components is possible since January 2025.
Anyone who is active in an educational project can request access to the bèta version from then on.
